Anti-Flash Valve

I wanted to get information on what is the standard location to install the anti-flash valve on the boiler feed pump? Our boiler feed pump is equipped with an ARC valve connected directly on the discharge side. I am not sure if the ARC valve has an internal antiflash valve installed in it because I couldn't visually find it. I am assuming that the typical location of the anti-flash valve would be before the ARC valve to protect it.
