I have a radeon 9500 card softmodded to Firegl X1.

It runs Antialiasing 6x like a dream, but only one document at the time.number of parts in that assembly does not seem to affect it, as I have tested with 1000+ parts. If other documents are opened, it only applies 2x AA to them or lower, and performance is severely degraded. This makes it useless for the most part.

Are there anyone Out there that have discovered the advantages of going with antialiasing ? Please share.

Top reason why: Can run with lower resoloution. My lcd only output 1280x1024, but with AAx6 on, it looks like 2048x1536 or more.

Best Regards, MiNdNuMb

IMHO--

AA is a wonderful thing when doing photo-renders, Though I dont use realview (yet) I wouldn't accept a redraw speed reduction or work efficency during drawing just to have smoother lines.

YMMV

I have not ben able to make it work on my work machine, Nvidia FX1000 graphics card. Anyone know how to make soøidworks use it? I have tried the various settings in the driver, but nothing helps.
