antiwater seal for high speed motor:11000rpm

Hi,all

I meet a problem of antiwater seal.

The customer ask to protect the hign speed motor(duty: 11000rpm/8hours) from water. The test method is just putting the motor in water statically. the water height is OK when it can cover all of the motor.The testing time is 5 minutes.

Many methods have been tried but in the end they all are not good because of this working high speed and antiwater test statically.

Any advices will be very appreciated.

What are the torque requirements?

Maybe a totally sealed magnetic coupling would work.

I would suggest approaching a reputable manufacturer of Mechanical-seals with a view towards fitting one of suitable design at the drive-end of your motor. John crane, Burgmann and Nash spring to mind.
