Hi.

CAA developers are so rare (challenging COBOL nowdays) that I'd like to make a little shout out.

What are your experience, guys? In what domains?

I'd start: 5 years (10+ total in CATIA), mostly equipment and systems, other areas as needed to expose API to Automation.

Hey there,
I have almost 5 years working on Catia automation, I been able to create several great tools using VBA and Visual Studio, but also face those annoying limitations working with the standard object libraries specially on the equipment and systems workbenches, composites.. Etc.
I have been learning a little bit from CAA reading the documentation and some codes that I could get but I would like to get CAA products installed and start coding something. Some suggestion?

"Equipment and systems" workbench has led into CAA as well.

To start with build samples provided with CAA Encyclopedia.
We were interested in exposing missing functionality to Automation and started with "Implementing interfaces for Automation" use-case.

10 + years of experience in CATVBA/ PKT / BKT /Win 32 API

1 + year of experience in CAA automation in batch program and interactive tools

Let me know if i can help in some way

Thanks for responding, 22555!
