Hi Forum,
I am curious if anyone has practical experience in use of any of the range of 3M embossed tapes/sheets?
Looking at die-cutting a 2" x 3" sheet to sandwich between two die-cast Alum (chromated) components that are lightly bolted together. Surfaces are to be 'as-cast', and are typical commercial quality. Hope is to increase conductive connection for grounding and thermal pathway. As this has to be a service replaceable interface a dry joint is demanded.
Any experience on deterioration with time; corrosion; conductivity? The service conditions are within the 3M product spec temp range.
