Anybody know what the holdup is at NOAA for releasing the Texas data on PFDS?

Just curious. With everything going on in Texas hydrology, it'd be nice to not have to go off of TP-40.

my guess is that with the recent storms, there is a call for updating the data, I would not expect that soon

The original delay was funding. Texas didn't want to pitch the state's share of funding, so we had to wait on the Feds to have enough money for the whole thing.

It was supposed to be published in April 2018. There has been some scuttle about delaying the publication to incorporate rainfall from Harvey. My personal opinion is that storm is so far out on the probability scale that it won't move the depths for design storms enough to matter and they should just publish it.

I guess that might depend on what you're designing, and what storm you're supposed to be designing it to.
