I am looking for an old SAE standard titled "Design Guide for Involute Splines" by Cedoz, R.W. and M.R. Chaplin. I was wondering if anyone had a copy and if they would be willing to email/send me a copy or pdf version. It is out of print and I can't find it anywhere. I have seen it referenced in several articles I have been reading and would love to get a copy. I will gladly pay for shipping or whatever.

Thank you,

Did you try contacting the SAE? I did a quick search of the title and it appears that the document was published in 1994, which was not that long ago.

gearcutter,

That site is not the offical SAE site. If you look at there contact info they are located in China. The real SAE website is sae.org. The standards is not available on there website, because it says it has been discontinued.
