Could anybody help me on the substitute of gate valve as below?
2" CF3 150#RF API 600 GATE VALVE is to be replaced by 2" F304 150#RF API 602 GATE VALVE.
Any exta requirement are required or technical deviation is to be done?

Thanks.

- Youre goung from 2" to 2": no issue there, unless you require something else.
- Youre goung from RF to RF: no issue there, unless you require something else.
- Youre goung from Cl. 150 to Cl. 150: no issue there, unless you require something else.
- Youre goung from gate to gate: dont see the issue.
- Youre goung from a CF304 (i.e. 304) casting to a 304, which I assume is a forging: for these sizes I dont see an issue.
- Youre goung from API 600 to API 602: not sure if that's an issue.

What exactly is the background of your question and what answer do you hope to hear from us?

API 602 is for 4" and smaller forged "compact" steel gate valves.
Like API 600 the spec details valve design/construction criteria as well as material/trim designations.
