Can someone elaborate what the letters in the seal code BSTFN is from Table H7 of API 610 8th edition? I know the Balanced and Single parts, but for the rest I'm just guessing. Are seal face materials part of this code?

It's for a vertically suspended cooling tower sump pump if that helps any. Materials for the pump are to Table H1, material class S1. Seal includes API flush plan 13.

I only have API 610, 9th edition so I'm afraid the old 8th edition codes are a bit of a mystery.

Thanks,

Tim
