api 617 nozzle analysis

hi guys,
could you share your ideas about API 617 AND NEMA SM23,
basically what is difference between them,
how to manual calculation of nozzle loads and moments respect to standards?
how to stress analyses nozzle corresponding it ?

Simple description:
API 617
NEMA SM 23
API 617 and NEMA SM 23

In general, API 617 is just 1.85 times NEMA SM 23 allowable.
NEMA SM 23 is 1.85 times more conservative
