I am working on replacing an existing tank with a 2" drain coming out of the bottom of the tank. In looking at Appendix O the only nozzle sizes it list are 6" up to 48". Is there not any requirements on how far away from the shell the nozzle center is for smaller nozzles? And for does the re pad have to just cover area replacement requirement for the smaller nozzle?

If Appendix O is a direct interpolation as it seems from the larger nozzles listed in Table O-1b then the center of the 2" nozzle should be 42" inside the tank from the center line of the tank. Or am I incorrect?
