hello guys

i was going through calculations report (TANK hexagon) for storage tank having small internal pressure and found some discrepancy.
Mw (overturning moment about the shell-to-bottom joint from horizontal plus vertical wind pressure) mentioned in formulas of F4.2 and 5.11.2.1 are the same.
software is using different MW value in F4.2 calculations, is there something that i am missing ?
same values of the MDLR and Mws has been used in the calculations of F4.2 except MW
calculated value of MW is 100318.4 lb-ft while value used in F4.2 calculations is 1203820 lb-ft.
an help will be really appreciated.

Let's look at the ratio of the values. RMW / MW = 1203820 / 100318 = 12. It appears RMW is in.lbs whereas MW is ft.lbs. However that doesn't match Annex F, neither for the units nor the variable names.

You should be sending your model to Hexagon asking them your questions.
