API 650 - Table 5-21a error

Hi everybody,
Recently, I had a discussion with one of my friends, with regard to one error in API 650. adding that I'm not an expert in this field but it a logical issue that we can not have both "Net Uplift Formula" (in the header) in N, and one of the terms (say W1, or W2) in kN. This arose following questions to me:
1- Why the AK8824 (see

did not make a technical enquiry from API for his/her problem, during this time?
2- Why API does not update its response to TEs from July 31, 2006 (see

http://mycommittees.api.org/standards/techinterp/refequip/default.aspx)?

 

[IFRs]

tables 5.21 were revised recently. Do they still have the error you are concerned with? API does respond to TEs, perhaps not the way you expect?

Thanks JFR for your response. I've 11th ed. and it's still with that error. Is there a better way that I can make my enquiry to API through it (and have their response finally)?

Does your edition show "09", "09" and "11" on the right border, indicating revisions on those years? If so and you care to pursue this, word it simply and carefully (so I can understand it), include your proposed revisions and I will attempt to present it at the next meeting.

Insisting of you, IFRs, made me move furthur and finally i find last version from one of my friends, and it is corrected, thanks a lot and god helps you too.
