API/ASME Joint Efficiencys in 1945.

Hello,

I'm looking for the types (%) of joint efficiencys of welded joints for a pressure vessel built to the API/ASME code in 1945. I have the ASME Sec VIII 1945 but need to know what the joint E may have been used for API/ASME vessels.
