whatever happen to the api technical data book?

I just checked with IHS which said it had been withdrawn.

So, is there a replacement?

I believe API liscenced the information to a company called EPCON who turned it into an modern e-book, which you can download from EPCON's website for a few pennies/cents/paise etc. If your out of pennies you need to find someone with a copy of the old fashioned paper book.
