Hello,
is there a way to give the appended text below the dimension line?
currently we give the appended text in notes and associate it to the dimension but that doesn't work too well for radial and diametrical dimension?

I tried searching old threads and i am surprised to see no one has faced this issue before. CATIA has the text below functionality. I am wondering if Nx does too. Please help.

What version of NX are you using? And could you provide at least a picture of what it is that you're attempting to do?

Please find the image below. I have created a sample drafting describing my problem. We use this a lot in our line of work. Right now we associate the note to the dimension (the 2x in the second image is given using a note placed next below the dimension line)

It appears that you're running NX 9.0, correct?

That being said, the approach that you're currently using is about the best that you're going to find since this style of Dimension does not comply with any of the normal Drafting standards.

If you really want/need to use that style, I'd suggest creating a separate note object, then use the "origin" tool to give it an associative offset from the dimension text. This way if/when the view or dimension moves, the text goes with it. In effect, it will act like appended text while being a separate note.

@Cowksi
That is what we currently follow, Thanks. :)

Oh, but a colleague of mine somehow managed to get it for a diameter dimension. He could not recreate it though. Must have been a one off case or exploit. Thanks. I will attach a snapshot of that one case where he did manage to get it if I can.
