Does anyone know what Apple is coating the aluminum on the back of its iPhone 5 and 5s devices with? The metal appears to be anodized (and they've said as much) but the coefficient of friction between 2 iPhones is about .14. They use an omniphobic coating on the front glass which makes sense, but there's something unusual on the back. Has anyone looked into this?
