Application method for 3M transfer tape

I have been trying to use a 3M transfer tape to manually bond two pieces of Plexiglas chips (3"x2"x0.125") using a 3M transfer tape. However, I continuously get air bubbles between the tape and the slides.

Are there any equipments that can be used to obtain perfect bonds using tranfer tapes with no trapped air bubbles?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
