When i only apply a moment on the middle of pile cap in Abaqus, the result of reaction of supported piles are appear a idea distribution. However, when i apply a concentrated force and moment at a same point, the reaction of each piles are same, this result should not appear when a moment is applied. Anyone know which step i was wrong in the model.

is it possible that ANSYS is only reading the first load (ie only the point load) ?

Whilst the results look like it's only reading the direct load (are the reactions equal to the applied direct load ?), you should be able to check with the model global reactions, ie the model should give you sum moment about the origin for the applied loads ... is this the moment from only the direct loads ?

Then maybe the question is how to define multiple load types in a single loadcase.

Or run the two loads separately, and then add the results.

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

i add a reference point at the middle of pile cap, and i tried to assign to concentrated load at this reference point, the result of the sum of reaction is equal to input load. It means that when i apply multiple concentrated load in a same point, the model can give me the correct result, but when i assign a moment at this point, the model has no any effect due to moment.

maybe it's better to post in the Abaqus forum, or the FEA forum ?
