Instead of applying a load, I seem to obtain solutions easier, by applying an equivalent displacement instead. I often do this by trial and error. Just wondering if there is a more automatic way of doing this. I.e. increase a displacement until a reaction force of 1000N is reached. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks

Hi,

You can use sensor output + UAMP/VUAMP subroutine to do it.

Thanks akabartan,

Just to check something else, does anyone know if you can have two deformable items in contact with adaptive meshing constraints and with use of the UMESHMOTION subroutine? It only seems to work with one part rigid and the other part deformable in contact.

Thanks.
