All,

Need some help with the following, I am using Ansys V16 Workbench en I wanted to apply loads in the first three loadsteps and the final 4th loadstep I want to apply a BC (displacement = 0 mm).

You can insert a table for the displacements as well, however I cant put the first 3 steps in "FREE'.

How could I do this, without having to actually define contacts between two objects? Is this actually possible?

The model: Its a pipe which is bended and afterwards its supported. I don't want to model the supports if not really nescessary [bigsmile]. That's why I hope I can use somekind of BC.

Yup, its possible. use 'deactivate step'.. fill the first three steps with some value and select those three steps (in the Tabular data section) and deactivate. Et Voilá! :)
