Applying Shear

I have a cubic model that I am attempting to apply shear stress in the 12 (xy) direction, and I'm not sure what the best displacement arrangement is. That is, I apply forces on the appropriate surfaces, but unless coupled with the correct displacement inputs, the model simply rotates in space after running appropriate analysis. Does anyone have any input?
