Does anyone know if it's possible to apply stress factors to only specific groups of elements in post?
I have an analysis of a structure that requires different stress factors to be applied to different regions of the structure. Each analysis run has 160+ load cases that all need these factors applied, and I have at least 6 different analyses to solve, so we're talking many hundreds of results sets. Doing it manually by exporting data tables just isn't feasible.
I don't have much experience with the FEMAP API, but I'm looking into it as a possible solution, perhaps using the OutputSet Object with the SetStudyCombination, but I need to do some more reading. It's not clear to me that specific groups of element IDs can be manipulated rather than the whole model, and across multiple analysis sets to boot.
Any pointers are greatly appreciated!
