I am trying to apply temperatures to nodes & it seems that I can only apply temperature restraints to geometrical entites. Is there a work around?

Thanks in advance

I agree with brad, *TEMPERATURE is applying to nodes with Abaqus/Standard (or sometimes with an *BOUNDARY if you use elements with a #11 DOF).
Can precise if you are using Standard or Abaqus/CAE ?

A work around would possibly be to write a user subroutine if your problem is of applying a variable temperature restraint to an entity. You still need to define some kind of set to apply the user subroutine to, though. If you don't want to apply the fixed temperatures to a full surface or gemoetric entity then you'd have to partition it down to the surface/part you want.
