Aptina Imaging lens

I am new to video design and even newer to optics. Is their a stand alone product that can fit the 6 um x 6 um sensor of a MT9V032 from aptina imaging. It would be great if their is one of the web cam balls that can fit on to the pcb that has motors in it for zoom and motion.

Well, the Aptina website tells you that it's a 1/3-in format device, so you need a 1/3-in format compatible lens.

Can you call Aptina and ask them? Maybe their application engineer could answer that question.

I have a support ticket created and it takes about a week to get them to talk. If their is a technical support line I have not found it.

Aptina is primarily interested in large volume customers. Anything shy of a million units is not that interesting to them.
