Is there a way to archive a thread that I started? I would like to take it out of view for the public, but retain it for my private viewing later.

Bump.
If there is no way to archive a thread, I would like to know how to delete my thread(s). Is that possible? Do I have to contact a moderator?

You can "bookmark" threads or posts with the bookmarker next to the numbering of the posts in each thread. The bookmarks show up in your profile https://www.eng-tips.com/account/bookmarks

You can certainly print to PDF and save your desired threads locally on your computer.

You can directly delete your own threads or posts, but there's definitely a time limit. You otherwise can click the "Report" button on each of your threads and posts and ask for deletion.
