Are latest smart polymer sensors hydrolysis resistant?

Hi there all,

I am wondering if smart polymer materials that can change in response to stimuli such as chemicals, have any risk of degradation due to high temperature (100') water, humidity or steam and hydrolysis? Would these sensors be compromised in any way if exposed to these conditions??
