hello,
I already looked though the forum for something similar but couldn't find anything about it.

We are using Catia V5 R18 and R19 at university and each time I print something via PDF I get arrows that are not "sharp" (and later when printed too..)

see image/link:

This is most annoying with "Text with Leader" annotations.

Someone mentioned that this *might* be PDF related, but I have no idea ... and we cant test it because as students we dont have access to the institute owned printers directly.. we have to use our uni-copyshop....

I also tried the MS XPS Document writer but it gives me the same results...

A solution is to add a interruption to the arrow starting at its very front to close its end... but doing so for 100++ arrows is somehow painful...

maybe I missed something in standards settings or anywhere else.. maybe someone please can help.

Looks to me like the arrowhead is OK, but the arrow line is too long (or too thick).

yes, the line that goes through the arrow is ... to long...

the problem is that the line starts at the very front of the arrow, and when printed you can see the actual line overlapping the very beginning of the arrow, which makes it to appear not being "sharp".

as mentioned, when i add an line interruption from the very front to somewhere near middle/back of the arrow.. everything is fine, as there is no line going up to the arrow-front.

is there a setting to tell catia (in standards somewhere) not to start at the very front of the arrow? like say... 1mm behind the front, so that there is no line with given width.. printed?
