Section 6.1.1 gives that Table 3 minimum wall thickness values and the equation in Mandatory Appendix VI are essentially the same.
How are these values related to material allowable stress, ultimate strength, and yield strength? For example, if I've got a valve body made out of 316, the wall thickness requirement would undoubtably be greater than that for a body made out of Inconel. What materials (and/or say yield strength "range") can I assume are applicable to the data in Table 3?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
