ASME B16.5 flanged fitting availability

I was asked to design and procure a seamless flanged 150# class 8x6" reducer per B16.5 and B31.1 in stainless for a project. A specific taper angle was also specified. I went to see what's commercially available as a starting point and I can't seem to find anyone making seamless flanged fittings in stainless. The closest thing I found was in cast ductile iron.

Does anyone know a company making flanged stainless fittings? Table II-9 of B16.5 has dimensions defined up to NPS24 but no one seems to be making any.

No idea. Where are you located?
The thing with standards is that what’s in them isn’t always (or sometimes never) available from stock.
With enough cash and time, anything can be made though.
The other way around also holds: items not covered by standards are sometimes available from stock as if they have been in the codes like forever, like titanium B16.5 flanges.

Flanged fittings are not common. Much easier to buy a butt weld fitting and flanges.

I'm in Pennsylvania. I think the designers are starting to relax on requirements and allow flanges welded to a B16.9 (butt weld) reducer so hopefully this problem will go away soon!
