I cannot get my hands on a copy of this code. I am replacing a 6" natural gas line at an industrial plant. I need to know the procedure per the code for testing this line.
Any decent technical bookstore will have copies available.
When I used to buy codes & standards, I bought from Brown Bookshop in Houston. I went to the brick & mortar store to purchase in person (for expediency & instantaneous gratification, I hate waiting if I have a customer requirement to research), but I know they have a mail order business & an internet presence if you do not have a local tech bookstore.
Just do a google search for technical bookstores in your local area or feel free to use Brown's. I found pricing to be pretty much the same for ASME/AWS/API/etc code books at the techy bookshops I priced.
SMWMAN, unless more stringent equipment owner specifications exceed the minimal requuirements of ASME B31.3,the testing needed will be 5% RT OR UT and a hydrostatic test @ PSIG per owner specifications.
