Maybe I didn't read the code entirely,
but can someone explain what units to use in Part2 304.1.2

What units do I use for P,D?

P in psi, D in Inches, S in psi will give t in inches.

or
P in N/mm^2 , D in mm, S in N/mm^2 will give t in mm.
 
..........and Y is dimensionless. E, the weld joint efficiency coefficient is dimensionless and will be 1.0 or less.
