Resurrecting an old question from thread292-256296, has ASME provided a definition of equivalent plastic strain?

It appears no. As I requested in that old thread, "Please write a letter to the ASME Section VIII Code Committee indicating this oversight.". After you have sent this inquiry in, please revert with the tracking number provided to you by ASME.

There are Code Committee members who frequent this forum that can help you.

TGS4, is submitting a request for an interpretation the prefered method for asking this sort of question; or is there a better way?
