ASME New Certificate Scope for the Parts

the following case:
We are the Head manufacturer, we want to apply for the ASME U stamp, we only need to apply for the U part, it means that we only need the ASME Certificate U part, How about the Demonstation Products for the joint review because we have no any design, NDE, we only do the head plate welding , then forming, how to apply for the ASME certificate for the demonstation products? Thank you for you help.

As the U Certificate holder, you would be responsible for the NDE and design, even though you don't perform it. ASME cannot audit the other entities, so they require the certificate holder to verify compliance with Code requirements. As far as the demonstration, get with your AIA and they can guide you. ASME and NBIC are not very specific on demonstration requirements, other than that they must demonstrate your system and capabilities.

I don't think that a head supplier furnishing a partial data report is responsible for design.

the purchaser is responsible for the required minimum thickness and the fabricator who applies the final u stamp to vessel is responsible for the design

What you need is U-11, 12, 13, or even 14 certificate:
U-11. Manufacturer of pressure vessel parts at the above location only
U-12. Manufacturer of pressure vessel parts at the above location and field sites controlled by the above location
U-13. Manufacturer of pressure vessel parts at field sites controlled by the above location
U-14. Manufacturer of pressure vessel parts (cast iron only) at the above location only

I think the UG-11 shall be the best choice

If you supply seamless heads then there is no partial data report required. If you provide heads which contain a weld seam then you will need to provide partial data reports. You will need to do a demonstration vessel to show welding and NDE even though you likely would hire a 3rd party for the NDE.
