ASME Sec I (1962) Tubing Min T Calculation

Anyone with a 1962 edition of ASME Sec I should be able to help. I would like to know if there was a formula in that edition for minimum required thickness in tubing (similar to PG-27.2.1 in the current code). If so, was it written the same way, that is, t=[PD/(2S+P)]+0.005D+e , or was the 0.005 factor different. Thanks in advance for the help.

The more important issue is that in 1962 the allowable stresses were significantly diffferent for many alloys.

Yes, I was aware of this, but good point. I have those allowable stress tables from a colleague but, unfortunately, do not have the entire Code. I've observed small discrepancies in the original reported min T's that I cannot account for and I was told that the factors included in the formula may have changed.
