For a vessel of 3.350 m dia & 26.200 m length (T-T) and design pressure of 20 bar, So the approximate shell thickness will be 24mm by considering 3mm corrosion allowance.

i need to know the approximate tonnage for the above mentioned Pressure Vessel in empty condition.

Can any one help me to find the above said requirement.

Vessel wall weight i can calculate but the weight of saddle support etc i can't, since i don't have any calculation softwares.

Thanks in Advance. :)

You know the length - diameter - thickness so why can you not work out the weight yourself?
All you need is to know the head form and the internals weight and saddle/support weights plus nozzles weight to do the calculation!!

Unless the material is something funny (Aluminium/GRP/Lead)- but even then as long as you know the density it can be estimated!!!

Dear DSB123 - Thanks for your response.

Yes, As u said the weight for the vessel and head i can calculate. But weight for the support? I think for this larger size vessel the saddle support weight also significant role. Can you please put some light on it.

Weigth of Supports is dependant upon the design. You need to design the supports first then you can estimate the weight.
