ASME SEC VIII UW 13(e) states "When shells, heads, or other pressure parts are welded to a forged or rolled plate to form a corner joint, as in Fig. UW-13.2......" does rolled plate mean rolled by the mill in producing the plate or does it mean flat plate rolled to a radius after manufacture?

david339933, most often the interpretation would be plate rolled at the mill, normally applied to flat heads or tubesheets, etc. attached to a cylindrical shell. Other interpretations may be applicable depending on the details of construction.
