Is there a good reference comparison index somewhere that can be used to see what item moved where during the great rewrite of the ASME VIII div 2 code for the 2007 version?
I'm currently dealing with some people with other versions of the code and I want to have some comparison for them between the old and new article numbers.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
With regards, Corné

Thanks for the reference.
I'm more looking for a direct reference table between old and new articles. Preferably online as to distribute it easily.

The reference that jte gave you is the only thing out there. There's nothing else, unless you want to go through the pain yourself and then give it away for free.

I am guessing that you understand that the 2007 edition was a complete re-write. And the people that you're dealing with don't understand or appreciate that. In this case, it's you job to educate them on what happened. What you (they) are asking for is there - it's just not free.

Hi TGS4,
thanks for your reply. I indeed understand that the 2007 version is a complete rewrite. Even such a large one that I'm still not completely used to it. The people I'm dealing with have older versions and ask me where the formula I asked came from. It's a tiresome discussion.
Unfortunately there is no reference table.

if those people are checking your designs, politely tell them to get an up to date version of the code so they will be somewhat adequately prepared to carry out their assignments.
