Hay!

I am essspecially interseted in strength calculations. Does sbd has sth or knows where to look?

thanks in advance!

Hi,

TRCU is not a manufacturing Code (or design code), but a regulation (similar at PED for Europe).
But to get TRCU032 certification, you have to meet ASME requirement (if the base Code is ASME) + GOST requirements, which more restrictives than ASME for several aspects (for example, impact test. No exception and/or excemption are allowable as per GOST and impacts test at MDMT must be done in any case, even for SS materials). See below some typical requirements :

- Impact tests shall be carried out in accordance with GOST 34347-2017 (impact test values diferent than ASME)
- For all Vessels, joint efficiency 1 could not be used unless welding of main joints (ASME VIII div. cat A and B) are welded from both sides and 100% RT is performed. Joint efficiency shall be in compliance with design code and with the Maximum Allowable Joint Efficiencies for Welded Joints specified in the Annex E of GOST 34233-1-2017.

I hope it'll help you
