What are the plans for NX to include the new Dimensioning & Tolerancing spec (Y14.5m-2009)? Is there a targeted release for the development work?

This is the official position from our Drafting Product Manager:

With the recent release of the ASME Y14.5-2009 Standard we understand that many customers will begin to review and consider adopting the changes that have been introduced. Siemens PLM is confident that the standards coverage we provide today in NX will continue to provide customers with the standards compliancy they need to get their job done. Work is underway to determine changes that need to be made to satisfy this latest update. We welcome input from those customers who have assessed how the new standard will impact their business requirements. Your feedback will help us to determine and set priorities.

John,
I have a list of ASME Y14.5M -2009 symbols from our GD&T group that they would like to see addressed in future NX versions. Who/where should I submit these too.

Regards, Cindy

Would these changes Fall under ER request you Can submit to the PLM world Website and or GTAC?

Thanks

I would think that "Work is underway to determine changes that need to be made to satisfy this latest update" would cover that, but it never hurts to submit a request.

I've forwarded your information to the appropriate Product Manager, but he would like some sort of contact information so that he can follow-up if needed. I know you can't post an email address or phone number but if you could at least give us some idea of where you work that might be sufficient for now.
