I am having some problems with NX6. In my assemblies I can constrain parts but the constraints automatically disapear and I can move the part freely again. Has anyone had this problem before? Is there a setting I messed up?
When appling assembly constraints as soon as I click apply the constraint disapears. This is a very annoying problem, I cannot get anything done as far as assemblies go. If you know anything about this that would be a great help. Thanks in advance for your help.

Make sure the associative option is checked in the settings section of the dialog box.

Also make sure that you're actually using the 'Assembly Constraints' dialog and NOT 'Move Components'.

While it is true that 'Move Components' includes an option to use 'constraints', this option is provided only as a convenience since in reality nothing that is done using the 'Move Component' function will be captured by the assembly. Only the 'constraints' created with the 'Assembly Constraints' dialog (if you have the 'Associative' option ON, as cowski mentioned) will be captured as actual Constraints and honored by the Assembly.

Thanks for the help, it was the associative option that wasnt checked.
