I am trying to make movies of my different assemblies in NX6, but after I make a new Assembly Sequence, I go and click "Export to Movie" and dialog box appears where I save the .avi file to my directory. But after I hit "Ok" nothing happens and no file is created in the directory where I saved the .avi file. Also, when I try to "Export to Movie" again I get an error saying "Movie Recording is already in progress". I can't figure out if I am missing a step or if I am doing something wrong in the Assembly Sequence. I am just trying to add these movies to a PowerPoint.

Thanks,

Andrew

I know this works as I've done it many times. I just tested NX 6.0.5.3 and it works fine.

It seems straight forward to do, but for some reason I cannot get a recording to save. I first go to Assembly Sequence and start a new Sequence. From there I use the Insert Motion button where I move parts of the assembly to the necessary positions. After this I press the Play button and the Sequence I just made works fine. Its just when I click Export to Movie, I can never get the Sequence to record to a file. I would appreciate it if anyone can confirm I am doing the correct thing.

Thanks,
Andrew

Well for some reason everything is working now out of no where. Don't know why it couldn't record a movie last week but now it all works fine.

Thanks,
Andrew
