Associative Topology Bus

In wildfire it appears if you enable the topobus it is possible to update features that are created by reading in file data such as iges and .ibl data by deleting the original source file and replacing with the new file with the amended data by asking pro to update, , the problem I have is we are currently running 2001 and this option to update .ibl files does not work, does anyone know of a hidden config which may enable the option for ibl data.

I know you can edit the data within pro but this can be rather time consuming.

Thanks Hora, but I have already done that but for some reason in 2001 it does not recognise that, the 'filename' with a suffix of .ibl has been modified i.e a later date, I'm really hoping that PTC had a hidden config to enable pro/e to read more than just the likes of iges files which is the case in Wildfire..

Try redefining the import feature and choose the option file. Select the new iges or ibl file, and Pro/E should walk you through the rest, and any features which referenced the import surfaces should update ok.
