ASTM A106 grade B

Hi there

hope somebody can help me

I have a carbon steel pipe, that is classified as

ASTM A106 grade B/A 106A-11

question I have looked in several sources, but it is not clear to me what A 106A-11 stands for.
PLease, can somebody help me and explain me?

the same pipe is classified

P265 GH-TC1 EN10216-2+A2 2007
I assume that P stands for pressure
What stand GH and TC1 for ?

question 3) are astm and en10216 equivalent standards ?

1) that stands for ASTM A106 grade A, edition 2011.
2) i think youll find the answer for those abbreviations in the EN 10216 standard
3) no. EN 10216 is European and covers a range of carbon steel grades. A106 is for one type carbon steel pipe only, namely seamless cs pipe for high temperature service.

please, concerning 1), I am a bit confused.
If the grade is B, why is the definition quoting A106 grade A ?
I assume there is a difference between grade A and grade B.
If there is, which is better ?

I apologize for being so stickler but I think nothing has to be left unknown in these cases.
