ASTM A194 FOR HEX NUT COATING CASE ONLY CLAUSE 8.1.5 1

Dear all,
Please confirm, I'm confused as per Std. ASTM A194 Clause 8.1.5 is it mandatory for Galvanized or Cadmium coated nuts. As footnote "A".Just below the 24hrs temperature test is given "A" States as follows:-
Nuts intended to be coated with zinc or cadmium (marked in accordance with the
requirements of Supplementary Requirement S8) are not subjected to the require-
ments of 8.1.5 (See Appendix X2).
As, per my view it's exceptional for coating Nuts by invoking supplementary req. S8 Marked with 2HZN for Zinc Coated. Still if not specified in PO by end user.
Need an expert view. I have attached for more understanding technically/Standardfully better.

Santosh Ingale, I an reading from an older Edition of SA-194, but the relevant portion seems to read the same as your excerpt.

I interpret that this additional heat treat and test is not required for coated nuts.
