ASTM A356 LF2

I don't normally get involved with materials like this. Just for my own info, can someone tell me what this material is, and what are it's typical applications? Thanks.

1. Scope

1.1 This specification covers one grade of martensitic stainless steel and several grades of ferritic steel castings for cylinders (shells), valve chests, throttle valves, and other heavy-walled castings for steam turbine applications.

1.2 Optional supplementary requirements (S1 through S5) shall apply as selected by and specified by the purchaser.

1.3 The values stated in either inch-pound units or SI units are to be regarded separately as standard. Within the text, the SI units are shown in brackets. The values stated in each system are not exact equivalents; therefore, each system must be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in nonconformance with the specification.

ASTM A356 is the Standard Specification for Steel Castings, Carbon, Low Alloy and Stainless Steel for Heavy-wall Steam Turbines. The specification would apply to cast turbine shells or casings for steam chests or throttle valve bodies. Unfortunately, I don't have this spec at my present location to confirm the LF2 material grade.

metengr - just needed the quick bit of info already provided. It was really more just for my info than anything critical. I probably won't come across this again, as it's outside of my normal gig. I really appreciate your offer, but I should be OK. Thanks again.
 
May be is ASTM A350 LF2, in this is the case, LF2 is a forged carbon steel for low temperature application , impact test with minimum values are required, test temperature of the material at -46ºC. This steel is very popular in the forged valves.

 
ASTM A350 Gr. LF2 is also used for components and fittings like seatrings and so on but it's very hard get on the market. Anybody knows a supplier for this type of materials like LF1 and LF2 pipe?
