IN my project, material require follow A36-2014, so it require be killed
During review Mill cert, some of them note that material has been fully killed and other no,
Any another case, we used the old material follow A36-2008, also no mention any killed, I check in verson ASTM A36-2008 also no require killed,
Is it acceptable or not. All MTC have element killed is sillic

If .has the appropriate Si content, it will be fully killed.

Agree with the above comment. Aluminum is also used in killing steel and we often see Si & Al both reported on an MTR. Of course it's much easier to satisfy a customer that the requirement has been met when the MTR states 'fully killed' or words to that effect. If necessary, your steel supplier may be able to help with confirming that the requirement has been met.

Thanks all, I wonder how much appreciate silic or Aluminum content to get full killed, any document refer could convince client that it has been killed or half killed

Si >or= .10% for fully killed, although I prefer .12% min. For practical purposes, AL > or = .02%
