ASTM A572 Grade 50 vs ASTM 1011 CS

We have a job that specifies ASTM A572 grade 50 (Actually AASHTO M270 Grade 50). We need plate that is only 1/8" thick. It's for a shim underneath the sole plate on a steel bridge girder. We can't seem to find a supplier that provides 572 in that thickness. Is 1011 CS a suitable substitute or is there a better recommendation?

ASTM A1011 SS Grade 50 or A1011 HSLAS Grade 50. The HSLAS grade is closer to an exact match to A572, but either is going have the same basic performance. The SS grade is probably more readily available.

CS grades have no defined yield or tensile strength requirement.

A572 is a plate steel. ASTM A6, which is the governing General Requirements standard that ASTM A572 points to defines plates as follows:
Over 8" in width and 0.230" or over in thickness
Over 48" in width and 0.180" or more in thickness
No one should legitimately be selling A572 in 1/8" thickness.
