ASTM # for EN 10336 2

I am looking for a mill in the USA that can produce a HSLA steel with the code EN 10336.
This is a German spec and no ASTM equilivant has been provided. If you are familiar with this steel, can you provide me with a cross reference to relate this steel to?

I have done a key word search and checked FAQ on this forum and didn't find what I was looking for. I am new to this forum so if I have missed something, please advise.

EN 10336 Continuously hot-dip coated and electrolytically coated strip and sheet of multiphase steels for cold forming. Technical delivery conditions is neither a German specification nor is it for HSLA steels. It relates to multiphase steels and is a European standard published by CEN:

There are multiple types of steel contained in this document, so you will need to provide more information to get an accurate answer.

The complete reference on the print calls for:

STAHL EN 10366- 1.09858 +ZE+A+o +DBL4062.514

I tried to input this into the CEN link you provided in the previous thread but no results were found.
Does this give you what is needed to fine turn your reply for an even more accurate answer?

I think you mean 1.0958, which also goes by the symbol HDT950C. The H means High strength, the D means hot rolled, T means it is specified on a Tensile strength basis, the 950 is the minimum tensile strength in MPa, and the C means it is a Complex phase steel. The +ZE means it is electrogalvanized. I don't know what the +A and +o mean (probably a topcoat or sealer or temper pass or aging treatment). DBL 4062 is a Daimler specification for electrogalvanized sheet steel.

This is cutting edge steel technology. There is no US mill producing complex phase steel. You need to work up the supply chain and make contact with the original specifier. Together, you can develop a steel supplier who can provide this material to you.

It is unlikely that any one in the world will electrogalvanize high strength hot roll product. Hot dip galvanize might be available. What gauge are they looking for?

950MPa tensile grades are available in US but as a dual phase grade rather than complex phase and the sizes will be limited. See SAE J2340 for comparison.

Thank you for these quality responses. Because of your assistance I have what I need for now on this project.

The thickness is .078" (2.0mm). The forcasted production currently calls for 650 tons per year.
