ASTM piping and fitting materials from Chinese suppliers

Is it advisable to buy P22, P11 and CS piping and fitting materials from Chinese suppliers for a power project? Are there reputable suppliers list of some sort where one can go for purchasing these from China?

This question has been asked before. My opinion and coming from a Purchaser viewpoint is that you need to have site audits performed on a regular basis of your product run to ensure your specifications requirements and quality level.
Regarding qualified suppliers, since we purchase products through boiler OEM’s or large after market power boiler parts suppliers, they have done the leg work for me to qualify a mill. I still will visit the mill when our material is in the que because it is our end product.

By the way, there are several tube mills in the US that have turned out poor (rejectable) quality products on occasion. I will not name them because I don’t want to offend any of them on this forum.
